Larry Weiss created or assisted in the development of many mass-market products over his career. As a kid, you probably wore UNDEROOS, Larry's first entrepreneurial new product. While head of the Development Division of Citicorp in the 1980's, he directed development of a wide range of innovative financial services and online consumer banking applications. Larry also created the original customer-friendly interface for Citibank's full service ATMs and a broad spectrum of other banking products around the world. This was followed by his team's design of the 24-hour Automated Postal Centers, POS touch-screen counter system applications and Web applications for the US Postal Service. Larry Weiss has consulted on product development for companies including Sonic Drive-In, Citibank, CVS Health, Aetna Insurance, Priceline.com, the US Postal Service, FreshDirect, 1-800-Flowers, Pitney Bowes, Kraft Foods, Lenox Hill Hospital, Lincoln Center, Chase Bank, Jenny Craig, Simon & Schuster and Marriott International. In his work, he uses the unique patented Linescale Research System in his development work as the tool set of choice. Linescale was designed and developed by Larry, Dan Axtell and Donna Porter to solve the product development challenges every business faces. Larry's development career began at Pillsbury and General Foods, doing innovative marketing research, new product development and product group management. Among his familiar packaged-goods creations, in addition to Underoos Children's Underwear, are Cycle Dog Food and Cocoa Pebbles and Fruity Pebbles Cereal - see list at: http://gort.net/ProductIndex.htm He has degrees in Psychology and Philosophy and Experimental Psychology from Boston University, and fourteen U.S. Patents.
